MTR Delegation
Coal River Valley, West Virginia

This will be our second delegation to Coal River Valley, the place where coal mining and climate change converge through the activism of local residents.  The purpose of this delegation is to link the negative impacts of mining, processing and burning of coal with their devastating effects on communities and the natural environment, and to empower delegates to join efforts underway to stop mountaintop removal mining and phase out coal-fired power plants.
