A Resilient Rogers Park
A Great Unleashing

This an all-day neighborhood festival that celebrates both the Transition Towns movement and Rogers Park. Learn how to grow food (in containers, on a roof, or in the ground), raise chickens or bees, mend clothes, or lower your energy use!   Or attend workshops that discuss local impacts of peak oil and climate change and present alternatives to current economic and social structures.

Bill and Becky Wilson of Midwest Permaculture will join us at this event and, as transition trainers, will us help put the frame around the importance of moving to a more sustainable, equitable, connected and enriching way of life.

Eco-Justice Collaborative is one of the catalyzers / founders for this transition initiative as well as fully entrenched in the planning and implementation of this exciting event.  More to come….
