Thanks to EJC, the Pierce Family Foundation and many others Bioneers is coming to Chicago the weekend of November 2-4, 2012.

What is Bioneers?  Bioneers is inspiring a shift to live on Earth in ways that honor the web of life, each other and future generations. Viable solutions already exist for most of our environmental and social crises. The solutions in nature consistently surpass our concept of what is possible. Where we don’t know what to do, we have a good idea what directions to head in. Once people discover these realities, it dramatically leverages pressure for change.

Eco-Justice Collaborative invites you to join in planning that will lead toward envisioning Chicago’s future in a manner that embraces sustainability, green technology and social justice.  Our Chicago vision for Bioneers is expressed in the preamble of the Earth Charter:  ” …  in the midst of a magnificent diversity of cultures and life forms, we are one human family and one Earth community with a common destiny. We believe we must join together to bring forth a sustainable global society founded on respect for nature, universal human rights, economic justice, and a culture of peace.”
