BACKGROUND
On June 1, 2017, the Future Energy Jobs Act became law in Illinois. Between now and 2030, about $200 million per year will be made available to drive the construction of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in Illinois. This will result in a projected $15 billion in wind and solar development, and deliver more than $4 billion in consumer savings. And it will create tens of thousands of jobs.
