Transition Towns and Permaculture

Transition Towns and Permaculture

THURSDAY, JULY 28
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Milton Dixon, Midwest Permaculture, Chicago Permaculture Meetup and Transition Rogers Park

The Transition Towns movement is a permaculture design for bringing a community together to respond to peak oil, climate change and economic instability.

Join us as we learn about Transition Towns, Transition Rogers Park and how permaculture can be used to design both our physical and social landscapes.  Meet some of us “transitioners”, and talk with them about what we’re doing!

Refreshments served.

Building Resilient Communities

EJC is a founding partner of Transition Rogers Park, which is modeled after the global Transition Town movement. Transition Rogers Park is hosting a series of gatherings designed to create local solutions for the challenges of peak oil, climate change and a economic instability.  Each gathering is designed to move us forward in our thinking or actions.

Visit Transition Rogers Park to RSVP.  Click for a flier and check out the details for each event on our calendar.
