Natural Climate Solutions Working Group Meeting

The Natural Climate Working Group of the Downstate Caucus of the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition will be hosting Eliot Clay and Tonyisha Harris of the Illinois Environmental Council at the next regularly-scheduled meeting.
Eliot will share insights about the newly passed bill that authorizes the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to host listening sessions on opportunities to protect, restore, and expand natural areas in Illinois.
Tonyisha will talk with the group about hosting listening sessions throughout the state to garner input from community leaders, organizations, institutions and farmers about goals set in the 30 x 30 statewide Natural Climate Solutions Group.

The Natural Climate Solutions Working Group of the IDownstate Caucus of the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition meets every two weeks to help build power and support for preserving 30 percentages to Illinois’ land water by 2030.
