Protect the Middle Fork River

Campaign Planning Meeting

The purpose of this campaign is call on  the State of Illinois and its regulatory agencies to require Dynegy to:

• Remove coal ash waste from the floodplain of the Middle Fork of the Vermilion River where it intersects with groundwater; and

• Relocate the waste to an upland area on its property in a properly designed and monitored facility that will ensure the long-term safety of surrounding property and people.

We’ll continue our planning, review messaging and fact sheets, and continue developing strategy and tactics for the next 60 to 90 days.
