Campaign Win!
EJC partnered with Prairie Rivers Network to pass legislation that protects Illinois' ONLY sole-source aquifer from CO2 pollution by banning the injection of CO2 through or storing it under the aquifer. The aquifer's sole-source designation means there is no economically viable alternate source of water should it be contaminated.

This is a HUGE win for the more than 800,000 people in Central Illinois that depend on this aquifer for their drinking water!
