The Farm Bill impacts almost every facet of the nation’s resources and operations, including food, water, air, public health, national security, the US economy, its workforce, the Ag sector and the lives of farmers and farmworkers---those who are the backbone of the industry.

Panelists
We have invited a panel of commodity crop farmers and senior level officials from USDA and the Soil and Water Conservation District to share their expertise. You can expect to learn:

  • What is the Farm Bill and why is it crucial for clean water?
  • How do the conservation programs in the 2023 Farm Bill support soil health and the repair of watersheds?
  • What needs to change in the 2023 Farm Bill to support regenerative farming?
  • How do we work together to change the Farm Bill?

Why Is this Important?
This collaboration and understanding of the details in the 2023 Farm Bill are critical to ensuring that these programs are adequately funded to support and incentivize farmers to shift into regenerative practices.

You’ll be able to ask the panel any questions you have about the Conservation programs in the Farm Bill. If you can’t make it to the live event: you’ll be able to access the replay.
